There’s a brilliant Instagram account by Steve Birnbaum which sees him tracking down the locations of music photos from the past – Nirvana, Madonna, Basquiat, Biggie, Grateful Dead, June & Johnny, Prince, Amy… so many iconic photos that we’ve seen before – but what of the location right now?

He also did a cool interview about what he’s about which you can read here. The whole thing is a gorgeous, gorgeous project and we should cherish him and hope he brings a fancy book out we can buy.
