The great thing about running your own blog and not being at all answerable to advertisers and the like, is that you can throw any old cobblers up and it counts as content. Not that this counts as any old cobblers. Someone else, however, has done the work for us.

You see, we were going to write a piece about the brilliant anti-Christmas Christmas song by The Kinks, but Trash Theory made a video and basically saved us from having to think too much.

It’s a good little video and maybe we would have taken a slightly different route, but that doesn’t matter because this is now a post that basically acts as a tip-off to look at something fun. Trash Theory do a lot of fun videos. You may not agree with them all or whatever, but video essays are great and Trash Theory do a lot of them.

Just what is the narrators’ accent though? Answers on a postcard and all that.
