Ye, the artist formerly known as but ostensibly still known as Kanye West, has gone missing. Why? Well, everything. His fall from grace has been well documented, making for a disappointing time for fans of his music and a boring SEE I TOLD YOU from people who are a bit racist when a rapper acts in exactly the same way as a rock star.

BUT! We digress because Kanye has indeed, said a lot of truly terrible shit lately and everyone has wasted no time in voicing their displeasure about it – that’s free speech for you ain’t it? Since he started saying stupid shit out loud, he’s lost high profile deals, his marriage has collapsed, he went after SNL’s Pete Davidson in a very messy manner, and sidled up to a bunch of rotten dicks, and it’s all been very depressing indeed, regardless of how good ‘808s & Heartbreaks’ is.

He’s fully fallen off the map and now, his former lawyers are reportedly turning to newspaper ads as they try to cut ties with him. It’s hard to break-up with someone if you can’t find them, eh? Late 2022, his former business manager Thomas St John said he wanted to serve him up a lawsuit, but alas, couldn’t find him.

His former legal team are running inches in the LA newspapers: “Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order,” the documents read. “Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”

There’s a lot of broken contracts and damages floating around, and if Ye doesn’t have the income he once had access to, it’s not a surprise he’s laying low.

What isn’t helping is that there’s been reports that Kanye West was going to start selling memorabilia that was inspired by Neo Nazism. Vice had the scoop on that, but it isn’t clear whether West has really had anything to do with it or not. Basically, if you’re a lawyer reading this, go and bother Vice News. What is true is that his actions and words have definitely inspired some Nazis out there to make things in his image, and that’s clearly a consequence of his affiliations with bad people, and the awful things he’s said.
