KING OF THE HILL RETURNS

The best cartoon sitcom of all time, King of the Hill, is coming back. Now, you may have thought ‘hang on – isn’t The Simpson’s the greatest?‘ but we said ‘best‘, so suck it up.

It’s official and everything that Hank Hill & Co will be back on our screens, and it will be getting a revival on Hulu. Not quite sure what that means for viewers outside of the US, but everyone knows a hooky way of getting TV shows these days, so it probably doesn’t matter too much.

The master Mike Judge is producing the show again, alongside longterm collaborator Greg Daniels, along with Saladin Patterson, so the whole thing is in good hands. It’s going to be great to see if Hank has any opinions on the way the Republicans have been acting lately. And you know Dale has absolutely gone off the deep end. Man, it’s going to be great.

The show notoriously had its fair share of musical guests too, featuring ZZ Top, the Chicks, Willie Nelson Tammy Wynette

Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, No Doubt, and the Chicks. Of course, the late Tom Petty voiced a character too. It’s going to be interesting to see who is queuing up to get involved this time around. Sadly, there’ll be no Brittany Murphy as the wonderful Luanne, so we’ll just have to trust them whatever happens there.

Either way, it feels very right to go back to Texas and see what Hank makes of the alt.right and oat milk, and what Bobby is getting switched onto online, and of course, Peggy, a woman so open and resistant to change at the same time that she’ll be her usual cocksure mess. We can’t wait to see how the whole thing plays out.
