Rema is referred to as a runaway and the next obvious superstar of African music, and with the latter, that could very well be true if they aren’t already.

Inspired by Wizkid, D’Banj and Burna Boy, it isn’t difficult to imagine Rema hitting the same heights with some ease. There’s a couple of new songs in the mix, but the one we’re crazy about is ‘Holiday’ – a perfect slice of modern AfroBeats that is every bit as charming as it is infectious. Lovely, lovely stuff.

We suspect we’ll write a long, glowing piece about them at some point in the not too distant future, but for now, we’ll just feel utterly decrepit in their presence (look at that photo of impossible youthfulness) and dance in our seat.
