There’s a sense that all the best new music coming out in 2023 is blessed with an ethereal sense of finally getting outside. Be it chugger daytime dancers, or dreamy psychedelic music, there’s a feeling of finally touching some grass after being stuck inside and nervous for too long.

So with that, we go to the utterly gorgeous new one from Nabihah Iqbal, ‘Dreamer’.

It’s apparently the song is the title track from the forthcoming LP, and if it’s at all setting the tone for the rest of it, we’re looking at an absolute gem of a release. It’ll be out on April 28th, so not long ’til we find out. We’re promised something that switches from wonky house, to blissful shoegaze. Perfect!

The video for the track is beyond beautiful, so don’t hesitate in getting stuck in. You’ll feel like you’re floating on air. Magical stuff.
