We’ll keep this brief because not everything has to be a bloody essay. Fact is, if you love David Bowie and you love the Pet Shop Boys, these few words won’t swerve you one jot.

Wonderful Neil Tennant has recalled bumping into David Bowie at the Brits in the ’90s.

He said: “I remember him backstage at the Brits eating a ham baguette. You imagine him to have Indonesian sardines, but there he was with a ham baguette.”

That’s fun isn’t it? It sure is. Now we thinking of it, we can barely imagine either of them eating. Anyway, you can imagine David Bowie eating a buttie while nattering to Neil Tennant.
