J Hus is brilliant and he’s had a run of tracks that are up there with the absolute cream. Whether you’re calling it hip hop, Afroswing, Afrobeats, or whatever, he’s returned with a track called ‘It’s Crazy’, and it’s great to have him back.

Now, he’s had a number of issues with violence and whatnot, and as a result, has seen some prison time. We’re not glorifying anything here, but accidentally laughed when we read that, when a judge asked him why he was carrying a six-inch knife, he replied with “y’know, it’s Westfield”.

Anyway, let’s not get bogged down with that. His debut LP ‘Common Sense’ is a modern British classic and with this new track, it looks like he’s back to his best.
