Rammstein, only days ago, were subject to mildly amused news articles about singer Till Lindermann falling off stage. However, things have got serious and quickly. The band have had to address numerous allegations which alleged that a fan was drugged at a party by Lindemann before the band’s recent show in Lithuania.

In a long Twitter thread, a fan named Shelby Lynn says that she was spiked at a pre-party, and she left the show physically bruised and vomiting. She has also alleged that she refused to have sex with Lindemann, which is said to have sent Till into a blind rage. Again, these are allegations before any lawyers get in touch.

Lynn has also stated that other fans have been in touch making claims about the group, hinting at generally awful behaviour.

The band themselves have responded with a statement saying: “With regard to the allegations circulating on the internet about Vilnius, we can rule out the possibility that what is being claimed took place in our environment. We are not aware of any official investigations into this matter.”

What are the allegations in question? Well, Lynn said that she was picked to attend the party by drummer Joe Letz [in Till’s side-project Lindemann]. She says that after drinking an ordinary amount of alcohol, she began to feel “like a human zombie, singing, dancing, but also stumbling tripping.”

Lynn was shown to a room beneath the stage: “I’m led underneath the stage. I open this curtain and immediately my heart sinks with a dreaded feeling. This room could fit maybe 4 people in it, tiny tiny like a changing room in a shop. I wait there for Till to arrive, he comes in and I immediately say “Till, if you’re here for sex I’m not doing that. Sex is very special for me I don’t sleep with strangers”. He’s immediately angry, “AGH, JOE SAID YOU WOULD”, shouting. I repeat myself, “I’m sorry to disappoint you, but we’d is special for me I can’t”.”

“He says- “YES YOU ALREADY SAID THAT”. He then bursts through curtain properly enraged. I left it a minute to give him time to leave, but when I left he was still lingering outside the curtain. He says to me “No. YOU WAIT”.”

She then shared photos of bruises and continued to make allegations and share the allegations of others, including memory loss, vomiting and hallucinations.

There’s also other allegations against Lindemann, one in a lengthy post, which makes for uncomfortable reading. There’s also a dedicated Reddit thread too. Shelby Lynn has stated categorically that she “will not be silenced” and “will be the voice for the many MANY victims.”

The whole thing is incredibly murky and looking into private access to the group, some months ago, the question was asked on Rammstein’s Reddit channel and whatnot. The editor of RammWiki, a Rammstein information site, answered: “There will also be a special Till celebration. You have to be a beautiful girl to have a chance of being selected for this. You need to contact Alena Makeeva on Instagram when she asks on her Instagram stories who is coming to the concert. You need a public profile so she can see your photo. And if she thinks you fit in, she will contact you. Then you get a free ticket and can stand in row 0 at the concert, either on the left or right side of the stage. Before the show, a few invited girls meet Till, and he chats to everyone and just tries to have a good time. Then the show starts. After the show, you’re invited to his own party.”

Lynn has made allegations about Alena too, with a screenshot that suggests trying to drum up support for the group with hashtags.

In addition to this, doing a little digging, three years ago, a video was posted on Reddit in which a pair of young women ask the Rammstein staff a question, and are seemingly instructed to go under the stage, in the same area that Lynn says these incidents took place.

Lynn has added that she will be attempting to get a toxicology report to see if she was spiked with drugs once she returned home.
