Not a thing we thought we’d be writing in a headline, but here we are.

Fact is, the pair have been spotted out together a bunch, and obviously, men and women couldn’t possibly be platonic friends without bumping uglies in the mind of everyone, so what’s the craic?

After posting some photos on Instagram featuring herself on the beach, the R&B legend was asked in the comments whether she was dating Bill Murray. Sure, they’re both cool, but c’mon, surely not?

“Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?” said one fan.

Kelis replied: “lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.“

So that’s that? Right?

Murray has apparently been watching Kelis at the side of the stage at a number of gigs, but you just have to assume Bill has excellent taste and just really likes watching Kelis perform. That all said, some horrendous source has poured fuel on everything by saying that the pair have “been getting close for a while”, so what do we know?
