Whether you know Carwyn Ellis as Colorama, or through his Rio 18 work, being pals with The Pretenders, his Soho radio show, working with Edwin Collins, or just by being a humble, lovely man from Wales, you’ll know that his name means good music isn’t far away.
Adding to his considerable bow already, he’s teamed up with the brilliant Young Gun Silver Fox to provide us all with a perfect slice of West Coast pop, just in time for the nice weather!
Patronisingly, we looked up the Welsh word for yacht rather than asking a Welsh person ourselves. We were rewarded with ‘hwylio’ and ‘iot’, so if someone can do the deep diving for us and put together a 2xLP compilation of Welsh iotrock, that’d be great. In the meantime, we’ve got Carwyn’s wonderful collaboration.
