Are you of a certain age and you fondly recall the days of 4AD Records, where there was a spate of bands melding shoegaze and dance music, with oversized jumpers and even more oversized fringes? Are you a young person who looks back on those days wishing you could have heard these songs as new?

You’re in luck, because Drab Majesty have a new song out called ‘The Skin And The Glove’ which has all the hallmarks of late ’80s/early ’90s shoegaze shuffle, and even better, instead of looking like scruffs, they’re utterly fabulous!

The band themselves refer to their music as ‘tragic wave’, which is pretty fun, and there’ll be a new EP out soon called ‘An Object In Motion’. We keep saying ‘they’ as there’s two of them, but really, it’s all Andrew Clinco’s work, and we figured that Drab Majesty fans might be a little besotted, so we’ll swerve niche heat by mentioning that.
