If you’ve been looking for that melodramatic, overwrought joy that you’d get from, say, Talk Talk and even Tears For Fears, then you won’t go far wrong here. There’s a track we’re particularly fond of called ‘Miss Yesterday’ (and ‘The Edge‘ is definitely worth your time as well) which is the dreamiest of pop, and has a super smart video to boot. There’s an EP due later in the month called ‘Back To Nothing’, packed with euphoric hooks and heady pop. You can pre-order it on Bandcamp, and it’ll surely be available to pre-save on your fave streaming service (all details here).

We’re feeling enthusiastic about this lot – many of the dream pop bands can suffer from terrible navel gazing, and a lot of the New Wave influenced bands are a little too reverential, but in the Oslo Twins’ hands, it sounds clean and fresh, and something embraced rather than a facsimile. It’s good stuff and available on 12″ too, which is always great. We’ll be getting a copy that’s for sure!
