Sofia Kourtesis is a new name to us, but this track we just heard is an absolute gem that you need to start shuffling your feet to as soon as you can.
The Peruvian (but based in Berlin, for what it’s worth) has announced an album called ‘Madres’ which we’re very keen to hear. It’s out October 27th and the first single off it is called ‘Si Te Portas Bonito’ and we like it a lot!
She’s signed to Ninja Tune too, which is pretty much a guaranteed seal of approval if you ask us. Get stuck into this. It’s uplifting, clubby pop music with a bit of an edge. Smart stuff!
