Here we go! We’ve been needing hip hop to get a bit of a kick in the pants and this Jersey sound is just the thing to do it. With that, a new track that you need to get your lugs ’round.

It’s by MCVERTT and features Sexxy Red and A$AP Ferg and called ‘Face Down’ and features the kind of daft production that’ll make 40something golden agers from Huddersfield worry about the state of hip hop, which is usually a great sign.

This is very fun and reminiscent of the Baltimore sound that paved the way for Jersey Club which, whether you like it or not, is going to be everywhere in the coming months (if it isn’t already). Bouncy, fun shit. We’re all for it. Get on this and we’ll ready a piece where we explain it to people who haven’t already read about it elsewhere.
