We don’t recall having hear of Population II before, but it’s obvious that prog never went away when you listen to their new track ‘C.T.Q.S.’ That’s not a criticism by the way. Only the weak turn their nose up at prog, and the equally weak like prog but can’t joke about it by saying ‘proggy bastards’ at stuff.

We digress.

The trio from Montreal have shared the new track which is taken from their imminent LP, which is called ‘Électrons Libres du Québec’, which is a very nice title and quite proggy in itself. Have a listen and then have a debate with yourself about whether it’s psych or prog. Keeps the world turning, that stuff, doesn’t it?
