There’s no popstar on Earth more likeable than Selena Gomez. Have you seen ‘Only Murders In The Building’ yet? She’s wonderful in it. Camp cult classic? ‘Spring Breakers’, everyone. A celebrity makeup range that is actually good and people sincerely like it? You bet. Came out of relationships with other celebrities looking like an actual grown-up? Yep!

Her relationship with her fans, detractors, social media and all that fluff has been a sight to behold too. She’s a very real person who can’t be arsed with a lot of stuff, let’s it all hang out whether she’s feeling crap or not, and in a world of beige airbrushing and poise, Selena Gomez tends to show herself to be more like the people you know, rather than some berk huffing rarified air. Not to say her life isn’t impossibly glamorous at times, but we don’t begrudge her that.

And now, she’s back with a bop and it’s perfectly likeable, danceable and fun. It’s a sneaky grower too and will sound great on the dancefloor while you chin your Pinot Grigio and lose your false eyelashes through having-fun-sweats.
