Miguel is back – back being the operative word – playing some new stuff from his next LP ‘VISCERA’ and, to grab the headlines, he got his back skin pierced and then suspended from hooks through his bare back.

With metal hooks through his flesh, dangling in mid air, he sang “I’m hanging onto nothing / I’m hanging from the ceiling.” And now, we’re going to share a clip of it, but really, it’s just an excuse to share a different clip of him which we’ll explain in a minute.

That’s pretty rank isn’t it? Interesting though. It takes all sorts doesn’t it?

ANYWAY, whatever. This was all just an excuse to share a more painful moment from a Miguel gig that makes us laugh every time we think about it. He was playing the Billboard Music Awards, went to jump over a small VIP pit or something, and basically, ended up doing a leg drop on a woman’s neck in the process.

It’s very funny and once you’ve watched it, it’ll sporadically pop into your mind while you’ve got the kettle on and you’ll chuckle to yourself.
