CHAI are a very cool pop band that you should get to know if you haven’t already. It’s been called ‘Neo Kawaii’, and that’s definitely a great name for the sound – but there’s also a sniff of Minneapolis funk about it, amongst the Mega Drive menu music choogle.

CHAI’s self-titled new LP is out too, so get on it! It’ll be on Sub Pop and there’s songs about dancing and having fun – remember that? CHAI certainly do.

Let’s hope they tour outside of the US, because that’ll be a great night out.
