Like rare records but hate spending a bazillion quid on them? Thank god for reissues! And thank god for Mr Bongo who are reissuing the ace Grupos Los Yoyi LP, ‘Yoyi’.
Bongo are launching a Cuban series and this is a gem of a psychedelic funk affair, that touches on fusion, disco, future shit, Latin and all that ace stuff.
It was originally out in ’77 and is one of the rarest records ever, so you don’t have to get in some grim bidding war on eBay or get fleeced by a chancer on Discogs – Mr Bongo has a copy you can play out, get drunk with and generally have a real good time.
