You could call it alt-rap we suppose, but we’re a bit loathed to do it. Fact is, this is not mainstream hip hop and comes with a big dollop of soulfulness that makes it worth a listen. It’s hotly tipped duo H31R who hail from New York and they’ve got a new single out from the next LP ‘HeadSpace’, which is being released on Big Dada.

The track is called ‘Right Here’, and it’s heavy on the atmosphere and fluency, and you should have a real good time with it. It’s not necessarily club-ready, but it’s obvious that they’re aiming for something else, so we’re cool on that score.
