KILLER HEAVY SALSA FROM FRUKO

The marvellous folks over at Munster have another banger of a reissue on the go, and this time it’s the fabulous Fruko LP from 1973 called ‘El Violento’. It’s dancefloor dynamite and full to bursting with super hot salsa music that’ll blow your head clean off!

If you like Fania records and all that good stuff, you’ll love this.

Fruko y sus Tesos hail from Colombia and were formed by the super cool bandleader Julio Ernesto Estrada (he’s the Fruko in question) and, for a smidge of back story, he started life a musician because he got the heave-ho from school for fighting.
