Now, you might think we’re being a bit glib and implying that this is somehow bad, but far from it. This is a glorious rolling back of the years and what we’ve got is a really great, really fun R&B throwback track that we can’t help but be madly in love with.

It’s pop, it’s soul, it’s a party track for opening a bottle of pinot grigio, and looking into some old interviews with her, it’s no surprise that she’s into New Jack Swing and funk from Minneapolis.
