Ennio Morricone is one of the masters when it comes to movie soundtracks, effectively inventing the sound of the modern Western. If you hear a tremolo guitar and think of mean-eyed cowboys and desperados, then it’s Ennio you have to thank.
With that in mind, if you’re looking to start your Morricone collection on vinyl, the lovely folks over at Light In The Attic have a sweet bundle for you.
In the deal (you can buy them individually too, if you’re not flush) you can get five compilations of the Itallian composer’s best works. Such as? Well, for starters, music from the legendary A Fist Full of Dollars and Once Upon A Time In the West, as well as the excellent Four Flies on Grey Velvet, and Tie Me Up!
They’re comps, so there’ll be more music than just those movies, and each bundle comes with a gorgeous coloured vinyl and it’s five LPs in total, so perfect if you feel like treating yourself.
