Tierra Whack is great, and she’s shared another new track – this one is called ’27 Club’, which is a bit grim, but you’re officially allowed to start getting excited about her imminent LP.
All the tunes we’ve heard from ‘WORLD WIDE WHACK’ have been forward thinking, a load of fun and a high bar for an artist who wasn’t too shabby in the first place. We might be looking at one of the most heavily rotated LPs of 2024, genuinely.
The album will be out on March 15th, which isn’t far away, so until then, have a listen to this new one which is a genre defying thing, and very good indeed. In it, she sings: “I can show you how it feels when you lose what you love.”
It seems to be a song about surviving those horrible, intrusive thoughts. You listen and make your own mind up. The video is something else. Real candy for the eyeballs.
