Let’s not mess around here – if you’re reading about Fonteyn on these pages, we’re going to go absolutely over the top about her. She’s brilliant. She is making exactly the kind of yearning, swoonsome ’70s pop that makes us tick.

Previous outings have shown us the joys of sweet pop, huge soaring hooks and layered harmonies, and now there’s a new song which is everything we’d hoped for and more. It goes by the name of ‘Jody’ and we’re going to assume there’s a brilliant album waiting in the wings too, but until we get that information, it’s this on repeat okay?

The ‘Trip The Light Fantastic’ LP is well worth your time if you don’t own it already, but then, you already knew about that because we told you all about it didn’t we? Fontyen is exactly the kind of person we should be making a star of, so you do your bit by racking up the streams and plays. This is perfect and we expected nothing less.
