Is it Spange? Or Spang? We don’t know, but the new one from Alena Spanger is really cool and it’s called ‘All That I Wanted’ and you should give it a listen.

There’s a good chance you’ve not heard of them if you’re outside of NYC, but there’s a debut album due and on the strength of this, we’ll be giving it a listen. The LP is called ‘Fire Escape’ and it’ll be due out in March.

The leading track has bubbly synth and is a very charming little shuffler. Promising stuff. Apparently, she was in a group called Tiny Hazard, which we’ve also not heard of, but you may’ve. We’re into this song though, and right now, that’s all that matters.
