Disney+ has gone all-in on some cool Beatle stuff, but now its the turn of the Beach Boys! Now, there’s a lot to cover with the Wilsons & Co, so it will be interesting to see just how deep things go here. The promotional blurb says “get ready for an endless summer of fun, fun, fun!” which isn’t promising for people who like to get into the nitty gritty of the group.

The all-new doc is streaming on Disney+ from May 24th 2024 and promises to capture the group who “revolutionised pop music, and the iconic, harmonious sound they created that personified the California dream, captivating fans for generations and generations to come.” We hope the weird drug years get included too.

There’ll be never-seen-before footage and interviews with all the surviving gang, as well as tributes from Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monáe and Don Was.
