One of the finest albums ever recorded is available after years of being hidden away in the shape of the effortlessly wonderful eponymous album from Peru’s, We All Together.
Originally released in 1972, featuring some beautiful Wings covers and a load of killer original material, the LP is the greatest Beatle-inspired cuts ever recorded, with a certain mid-70s DIY charm, but with lush arrangements and dynamite harmonies. If you’re into ’60s and ’70s music, this is an absolute must-have!
If you don’t own the majestic, proto prog of ‘It’s A Sin To Go Away’, have a listen now and you’ll want it in your collection immediately if you’ve got any taste.
You can snoop around on Discogs and see if any Peruvian sellers are flogging a copy, or you can visit the reliably brilliant Munster Records to sort you out with a brand new reprint of it, which of course, will come with a downloadable copy for yourself too, which is always nice.
“After remaining unavailable for years, here’s the long-awaited vinyl reissue of the debut album (originally released in 1972) by one of the epoch-making groups in the history of Peruvian rock: We All Together. Their original compositions —all sung in English— betray their passion for McCartney, taking Beatle-centrism to new heights in South America.”
It truly is one of the jewel in South America’s recorded history.
