Donald Glover doesn’t want to be called Childish Gambino anymore, which is a shame seeing as he got his name from a Wu Tang generator and everyone passed that fact off as new. Not that this is a bad thing – it’s fun sharing pop trivia isn’t it?
Anyway, this is the last we’ll hear of Gambino and it is called ‘Lithonia’ and it is a rock number of a fashion, rather than his usual flit between hip hop and soul.
The final LP will be called ‘Bando Stone and The New World’ and we’ll inevitably find out more when we hear the album as a whole. He was almost certainly release music as Donald Glover or have something else up his sleeve. The album is out July 19th, so not long to wait.
It is part of a film he’s in, which has the same name, and apparently, it is inspired by Prince’s LP that accompanied the Batman film.
