Billie Eilish and Charli XCX have joined forces on a song. It is part of a deluxe version of the ‘BRAT’ album, which all the popstars are doing at the moment to bump up the streams and sales. It’s canny marketing, but you wonder if fans will cool on buying albums when they come out in favour of waiting for an increased tracklist months later?

Anyway, the funny thing about this particular article is that we’re not even going to listen to the song. We’re just going to include it and write some filler words that don’t really mean anything and see if it has any noticeable difference when it comes to our traffic when we get a report on it in a bit. It’d be funny/depressing if it did, wouldn’t it?

And let us underline that we’re not being boring and refusing to listen to a big ol’ pop track because we’d rather be listening to some depressed lad with an acoustic guitar. We actively hope its a banger and we’ll listen to it another day. Maybe when we walk to the shops in a bit. We all need big, daft pop songs so if this is one, great stuff.

You’re probably not going to press play on it either because you’ve invariably already made your mind up one way or the other. Dead internet theory man, let’s test it out.
