Tim Heidecker is something of a renaissance man, although he’d probably rinse you for saying something like that about him. Broadly, he’s known for being a stand-up and comedian, but he’s also prone to making music which while witty, is more sincere so don’t expect him to be doing bits.

His ‘Work From Home’ is a genuinely great country-pop tune, and in a vaguely similar wheelhouse is his new one called ‘Like I Do’, which has echoes of Creedence in it, maybe. We’ve only listened to it once, but it’s classic country rock and you can make your own mind up and as ever, are advised to do exactly that.

We like it though, and there’ll be a new LP out in October called ‘Slipping Away’. All you need to do is press play on the video below and you’ll be half way to making your mind up about the whole thing.
