If you’re in the market for some seriously fun indie fuzz pop, then you will like the new song from Swedish group Girl Scout, who just so happen to have told everyone that they’ve got a new EP coming out.
The EP is called ‘Headache’ and it’ll be out in November (where did the year go? etc) and the first track you’ll hear from it is called ‘Honey’.
Emma Jansson sez the track “is about the bittersweet experience of close friends growing apart, heartache and the inevitability to keep everyone in your life at the same time. The lyrics delve into the complex emotions of frustration, concern, and helplessness while witnessing the imbalance of that relationship. It was originally written as an acoustic number, but we discovered that it was better suited as our interpretation of a 2010s indie rock song.”
There you go! Have a listen.
