SUPERGRASS TOUR AGAIN

Supergrass have announced that they’re going to tour ‘I Should Coco’ in full, but the statement includes a very fun jab at Oasis and the promise of non-Coco hits too.

Let us explain.

They’re going to celebrate the anniversary of ‘I Should Coco’ which includes the perfect ‘Lenny’, and of course, smash hit ‘Alright’, by playing the whole album start to finish and then, for the encore, some hits that weren’t on the album. So yes, you’re probably getting ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’ and ‘Richard III’ too, which is cool!

It’ll happen in summer 2025, visiting Glasgow, Nottingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff, London and Leeds. With the Oasis shows, it’ll be a summer of Britpop, eh?

Speaking of which, Mick Quinn says: “15 May 2025 marks 30 years since ‘I Should Coco’. Supergrass are thrilled to announce their return to perform the début album live, in its entirety, for the first time – dynamic pricing not included.

That’s a fun poke at the Oasis lads isn’t it? And they’re allowed too, because, ‘I Should Coco’ was the biggest selling debut LP since The Beatles put a record out and sold by the bucketload. And besides, it’s not hating on the Burnage boys – it’s just some light trolling, which we should always applaud.

Get tickets here. They’re on presale today from 10am and general sale on Friday. Now, let’s listen to ‘Lenny’.
