Margo Guryan’s music just keeps getting rediscovered, and with that momentum, a tribute comp has been made called ‘Like Someone I Know: A Celebration of Margo Guryan’, which will see the light of day in November.

To whet the appetite, we can now listen to Frankie Cosmos and Good Morning’s version of ‘Take A Picture’, which is every bit as lovely as you’d hope.

This track follows Empress Of’s take on ‘Someone I Know’, which has a super gorgeous animated video to go with it. In fact, the whole project has some seriously great artwork, so we’re hoping the whole thing does Margo justice.

It looks and sounds like it was made with a lot of love, which is all we can ask for, right? Everyone stumbles across Guryan’s music almost by accident, and if this comp wins some new fans over, that’s definitely a good thing.
