Fans of The Cure probably already heard this, but whatever. They’ve been teasing something new for a couple of weeks and now, there’s a new song to listen to and news of an album.

The LP will be called ‘Songs of a Lost World’ and you imagine there’ll be a tour to go with it. You suspect after all this surge pricing business with Oasis and sky high tickets elsewhere, Robert Smith will be keeping everything on a tight leash.

It is the band’s first new music in over a decade which is nice, and there’s a song called ‘Alone’ for you to listen to. It sounds very expansive to us, and apparently, it’ll open the new album, if you want a clue of how the whole thing is going to sound. You’re not interested in what we have to say though.
