DEJ LOAF AND THE 80S BOOGIE RAP

‘Try Me’ by Dej Loaf was one of the best underground hip hop smashes when it was released back in 2014, and other hits followed.

However, Dej kinda vanished for a while, quietly slipping away and presumably recalibrating. It seemed that, for all intents and purposes, she was done with The Industry.

Well, lately, she’s been sneaking some new tracks out and this month, the strongest of the comeback songs so far, with the 80s ballad boogie beat of ‘GOOD A$$ DAY’.

Her voice as soft as silk, and a super vibey production for her to float over, it’s a shame we didn’t get this track in summer when the weather was better, but hey ho!
