Want to hear a previously unreleased Throbbing Gristle track? Well, Mute are putting a new release out called ‘TG BERLIN’, which is a fancy boxset that charts unreleased work in Berlin, around a series of live events at the Volksbühne in 2005 and 2006. It’ll see the light of day on 6th December, and of course, you can hear a track from it below.

The event saw the group perform a live set on New Year’s Eve, as well as an improvised live soundtrack to Derek Jarman’s ‘In The Shadow of the Sun’ on New Year’s Day, and, while they were there, they recorded a couple of songs as well as a 48 minute piece of work.

This boxset will be 4xCD, a Blu Ray, 10” vinyl and a jazzy booklet with unseen photographs from Paul Heartfield and sleeve notes by Scottish visual artist Lucy McKenzie.
