We have noticed that The Quietus, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, NPR and others have released their Best Albums Of 2024 lists already, and that is far too early. The fact that we’re in the window for SURPRISE DROP! albums, and there’s a strong rumour that Kendrick will have a follow up to ‘GNX’ before the year is out, it is far too early to be considering anything properly yet.

We’re waiting on Lauren Mayberry’s new one, Saint Etienne’s ambient album, Snoop and Dre’s throwback thing, and others that we’ve not cottoned onto yet as they’re small bands who don’t have loads of marketing spend.

Let us not jump the gun, even if we have been strongly considering what’s already come out thus far. Everyone calm down.
