‘Silly Demon’ from Pat’s Soundhouse was one of our favourite LPs last year, but it vanished from Spotify which slightly detracted from our Best Of The Year playlist. We were left cherishing the Bandcamp download in the meantime, with it’s gorgeous pocket symphonies and Pet Sounds-ish ambition and beauty.
Since then, there’s been a number of experiments with Nu Age music, but now, there’s ‘Someone She Deserves’ which is a super fun slice of jangly pop which we really like.
From Glasgow, we know very little about the person behind it, and the vanishing albums is a smidge confusing, but that’s all more than okay because the music is good. That’s all that matters.
