ACE POWER POP FROM THE CONVENIENCE

The Convenience are new to us, but we just listened to ‘I Got Exactly What I Needed’, and it really tickled our pickle. It might tickle yours too!

The group are made up of Nick Corson and Duncan Troast, who have apparently worked with Drugdealer and others.

Instead of being Beatlesy power pop, their stuff is a bit more angular, and has a slight echo of pub rock in it, which is a welcome addition to the power pop ranks.

The band will have a new album out in April called ‘Like Cartoon Vampires’ and we’re excited to hear it.
