Neil Young has teased a full UK tour (and Europe, and the US) this year, and god knows how much tickets are going to end up being, but still!

Talking to his Neil Young Archives site, he yelled ‘Join us in the SUMMER OF DEMOCRACY’, before adding that there’s going to be a proper announcement of some kind on Monday Feb 24th. Now we’ve alerted you to this date, you better remind yourself about it as we’ll no doubt have something else to talk about on that day.

You’ve been warned.

He added: “Music unites! We will be there with you! Join us all as we celebrate the Summer of Democracy. Old songs and new songs. Old words and new words. Long jams! We will come together this summer.”

“The Chrome Hearts and I are ready for you! LOVE and Democracy reigns in the USA and the world.”

What this togetherness means, we’ll see. Of course, he’ll be playing Glastonbury after a little spat with them a while back, so if you miss out on tickets, then you’ll be able to see him on the telly no doubt.
