Do you remember in 2021, when STOMP STOMP CLAP stadium folk group Mumford & Sons were thrown into disarray after it turned out one of their members was a bit fashy?
Winston (Aubrey Aladar deBalkan) Marshall praised a book by Andy Ngo which was deemed ‘supremely dishonest’ in its criticisms of the anti-fascist movement, and then, it turned out Winston’s dad owns GB News.
After saying how the whole cancelling thing was very unfair on him, he went on to appear on GB News, this year, live from the ARC conference.
What’s the ARC conference? Well it stands for the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship conference, and was founded by whiny lunatic Jordan Peterson, alongside Winston’s dad.
The conference hosted Nigel Farage amongst others, and the leader of the Heritage Foundation which is the group that came up with the appalling Project 2025 for Donald Trump.
Winston left Mumford & Sons, so they’ve rid themselves of this nonsense, right?
WRONG.
There was an unofficial ARC afterparty which was said to be at a “secret London nightclub” with DJs playing music to presumably celebrate what they referred to as “an unstoppable subculture”.
This party was hosted by Sovereign House who run “MAGA’s New York Clubhouse”, report NM. Where? It turns out it was at a club called Omeara, and that just happens to be owned by Lowline Entertainment, and on their board of directors just so happens to be Ben Lovett, who plays keys in Mumford & Sons!
This news has broken just as the group were making a comeback and have announced a tour.
We await the official response from the group, but what it is it about these privileged groups and their political minefields they keep inviting themselves into?
