Stereolab have announced a big ol’ world tour, which is great news for lovers of bleeps and bloops with super Gallic Library pop! This is to promo some reissues that are coming out and the 35th anniversary of the band, so expect a fan-fave setlist.
Recent reissues have featured all manner of demos, unreleased bits and more, so expect more of the same.
Stereolab will reissue seven of their LPs, and some of them will be standard editions with lower prices, which “will help fans and shops in the current economic environment”, says Martin Pike, the manager of the band.
“These new editions will use the 2019 remastered tracks, but they will no longer include the disk of demos or the track-by-track notes. The sleevenotes will be added to the archive on our website, and the demo versions will still be available to stream or purchase digitally.”
The albums are now available to order now, here.
