UK SENDING MAD SONG TO EUROVISION

Eurovision is drawing ever closer and for those of us based in the UK, we’re looking at the song that’ll represent these fair isles. We have a varied history in the competition, but honestly, for the most part it has been a fair assessment that the UK didn’t win.

Not to say that all placings on the final leaderboard have been wholly fair, but a vote is a vote.

In the 2025 Eurovision, the UK will be represented by Remember Monday with a song called ‘What The Hell Just Happened’.

The group describe themselves as “pop girlies with a lil bit of yeehaw”, but honestly, the song is all a bit madder than that. It’s got huge harmonies, time changes, vibe switches – it’s an assault on the senses and honestly, it might crush the show when performed live, but it also might confuse some.

It’s a big swing, that’s what we’re saying, and honestly, a big swing is better than mealy mouthed efforts. It is not a dreary, mid-tempo ballad, and that is the first box ticked off.

Have a listen.
