Remember WU LYF? Well, to many, they were a brief but seminal band. Hailing from Manchester, the group broke up, and went off to do their own thing. Francis Lung emerged, as did Lost Under Heaven.

Now, it seems like the old band are getting back together, heralded by a countdown clock on a site.

WU LYF is short for World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation, and some postcards have been issued directing them to the website worldunite.org

Remember, they went from small independent shows in Manchester to playing on Letterman in the blink of an eye. Let us remind ourselves of that, and then wonder who else might be making a comeback from yesteryear.
