We just learned that actor John C Reilly has a fun alter ego which delves into vaudeville, called Mister Romantic, and we’re all up for famous people doing fun stuff like this.

He’s got an album out and has been doing one-man shows, and it all sounds super interesting, so we’re writing this so you can find out more for yourself. That’s exactly what we’ll be doing as soon as we’ve hit ‘publish’ on this.

He’s been tackling the Great American Songbook, mixing it with some comedy and his own style, and he’s said of the project:

“I looked at our weary world a few years ago and tried to think of a way I could spread love and empathy. I decided the most fun way to do that was through performing and singing and telling people I loved them. So the emotional vaudeville show Mister Romantic was born, out of both hope and despair.”
