Madonna is returning to dance music, as it has been announced that she’s returning to Warner Records, and notably, coming at us with ‘Confessions Of A Dance Floor Part 2’, which should be out in 2026.
Madonna and dance music is a marriage made in heaven, and if she’s going to help bring back French house while she’s at it, we’ll all be happy.
Of her return to Warners, she says: “From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer.”
“Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”
Prediction – the first single will be called ‘Protect The Dolls‘.
On Instagram, she wrote: “Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF- P. 2 🪩 2026”
She teased the LP earlier in the year, which Madge die-hards will already know, but what is great news is that she’s not teaming up with some johnny-come-latelys, but once again pairing up with Stuart Price,
While the boardrooms and press release writers will be excited to say she’s back ‘home’ at Warner Bros, what is actually true is that she’s really back home, making music to be played on sweaty dancefloors.
