It’s so nice that Nick Heyward is back with Haircut 100. They were a wonderful band and, better yet, the new stuff is equally fantastic, with their super smart sophisticated jangly pop. Sophistipop, you might say.

Well, we covered a song by the reformed gang a while ago, and honestly, we can’t remember what we said about it all, so sorry if we’re repeating ourselves.

The skinny is that they’ve announced details of a new LP – the first with Heyward since ’82 – and there’s a new single from it called ‘Dynamite’.
