He’s a long way from his ‘Cartel’ days is Murkage Dave, and it’s been great to see his creative expand upwards and outwards. Genre-hopping, confessional and honest, he’s been releasing his best work since going solo.

And there’s a new single called ‘Swordfight In A Chicken Shop’, and there’s a lyric video with it, so you can really get into the words, which sit atop a ‘There’s a Riot Goin’ On’ drum machine, which makes Dave a modern day Sly Stone, right?
